The Virginia Department of alcoholic drink Control (ABC) store found in the Hilltop North mall at 1612 Laskin Road, Virginia Beach, will shut Sunday, Aug. 31, at 6 p.m. for renovating. Plans require the location to reopen in mid-November as Virginia ABC’s latest leading store.

The licensee section of the store—which fills product instructions for restaurants only—will remain available during construction from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.

This Virginia seashore shop is going to be totally redesigned to look like both other top ABC shops that recently opened in Leesburg and Williamsburg. The retail area is going to be renovated with brand-new floor, ceiling, energy-efficient illumination, wall remedies, product shows and a tasting location.
